Job Summary:
The Plumbing Helper supports the plumbing team by assisting with basic tasks under the supervision of the Foreman. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean job site, delivering materials and tools, and helping with general labor. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals interested in learning the plumbing trade. While not enrolled in a formal apprenticeship program, the Plumbing Helper role can serve as a stepping stone toward future advancement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with basic plumbing tasks and installations.
  • Transport and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Learn from experienced plumbers on the job.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 0–1 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong willingness to learn and contribute to a team.
  • Reliable transportation.
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally more with assistance.
  • Prolonged standing and walking on various surfaces.
  • Frequent ladder use and work at heights.
  • Regular bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
  • Frequent use of hands for tools and basic tasks.
  • Good vision and hearing required; use of PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection, is mandatory.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Safety Requirements:
  • Comply with OSHA safety guidelines and wear PPE as needed.
  • Report hazards and follow safe work practices.
Work Environment:
  • Indoors and outdoors in various settings, exposed to extreme weather, confined spaces, and high elevations.
  • Protective equipment is required in noisy, dusty, or hazardous environments.
  • Work may involve tight spaces and handling heavy tools.
  • Overtime, weekend, and emergency work may be required.
