Job Summary
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist owns recruiting for all Team Kline positions, taking leadership on key roles such as hard to fill positions and administrative/leadership positions while also serving as a key partner to the HR Director on recruiting process, data, and employer presence. This role operates with autonomy, handling searches that tend to be more complex, longer in cycle, or higher in organizational impact.

In addition to managing a requisition load, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist takes responsibility for recruiting data and reporting, process design and adoption, and proactive sourcing strategy for harder-to-fill roles. Workforce and recruitment strategy are owned by the HR Director; this role is a primary collaborator and implementer of that strategy, translating direction into action and bringing ground-level insight back to inform it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions, including HR, finance, safety, administrative, and management roles across all Team Kline locations.
  • Manages recruiting for field and technical positions as needed to assist with recruitment volume for all openings.
  • Conduct in-depth intake conversations with hiring managers to build a clear picture of role requirements, success factors, and candidate profile before sourcing begins.
  • Develop tailored sourcing strategies for each search, including passive sourcing, LinkedIn outreach, professional networks, and targeted job boards.
  • Facilitate a structured, consistent interview process; support hiring managers in defining evaluation criteria and making sound selection decisions.
  • Manage offer conversations, including compensation benchmarking inputs and negotiation. For leadership positions, completes this in collaboration with the HR Director and appropriate senior leadership.
  • Initiate onboarding handoff to the HR Generalist and ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new hire.
  • Own the recruiting activity log and pipeline reporting, producing regular updates for the HR Director and contributing to workforce planning conversations.
  • Maintain data integrity across JazzHR and other recruitment tools; identify reporting gaps and develop interim tracking solutions where the system falls short.
  • Track time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline health across all open requisitions; surface trends and recommend adjustments.
  • Design, document, and drive adoption of recruiting SOPs, including the requisition intake process, offer approval workflow, and hiring manager communication standards.
  • Identify where existing processes are breaking down and bring solutions, not just observations, to the HR Director.
  • In partnership with the HR Director, develop and execute sourcing strategies for harder-to-fill roles and emerging hiring needs.
  • Participate in discussions related to growth and merger/acquisition activity to identify sourcing and hiring needs and collaboratively build a plan to meet hiring goals for the company.
  • Research and recommend new sourcing channels, tools, or partnerships, including digital platforms, professional associations, and regional networks.
  • Support Team Kline's employer brand efforts, including job description quality, candidate communications, and social/digital recruiting presence.
  • Build and maintain relationships with sourcing partners, staffing contacts, and professional communities relevant to non-field hiring.
  • Serve as a primary thought partner to the HR Director on recruiting priorities, capacity, and process improvement.
  • Contribute ground-level recruiting data and candidate market intelligence to workforce planning discussions, the HR Director owns strategy; this role informs and implements it.
  • Proactively flag capacity issues, sourcing challenges, or hiring manager dynamics that may require HR Director engagement.
  • Support the HR Director in preparing recruiting-related materials for leadership conversations as needed.
Core Skills & Competencies
  • Proven ability to manage complex, professional-level searches with longer cycles and higher stakeholder visibility.
  • Strong sourcing skills across multiple channels, including passive candidates and hard-to-fill specialties.
  • Data-literate: able to build and maintain tracking systems, interpret pipeline metrics, and translate data into clear recommendations.
  • Skilled at process design; can identify what is missing, draft a practical solution, and get others to use it.
  • Credible influencer with hiring managers; comfortable pushing back, reframing, or escalating when needed.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to draft job descriptions, candidate-facing materials, and internal reporting.
  • Collaborative working style with a clear understanding of when to act independently and when to loop in the HR Director.
  • High degree of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive compensation, candidate, and organizational information.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of four to six years of talent acquisition experience, with demonstrated progression in scope and complexity.
  • Experience managing professional, administrative, or leadership-level searches in a multi-location organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with recruiting data, reporting, or process improvement.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • High school diploma required; degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel to off-site locations, sourcing events, or professional networking activities.
