The Electrical Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of electrical projects, ensuring high quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a team of electricians, coordinating project schedules, budgets, and resources. This role also includes developing strong relationships with clients, vendors, and employees. The Electrical Manager is responsible for driving the department’s performance, promoting and enforcing safety requirements, and achieving company objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for all project activities from planning to monitoring
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and milestones
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure resources are allocated in an efficient manner
- Track project expenses and prepare accurate billing
- Submit timely invoices, change orders, and job lobs
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, addressing concerns and maintaining communication
- Conduct post project reviews for feedback and satisfaction
- Maintain comprehensive project records and prepare progress reports for the Branch Manager
- Conduct performance reviews of electrical team members and always ensure high quality of work
- A valid class A Journeyman License or higher
- Must be able to be insured under company vehicle insurance policy
- Minimum of 10 years in electrical project management preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction management or related fields is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at a time
- Must be highly organized
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Good visual acuity for reading documents and blueprints
- Proficient hand eye coordination for computer usage
- Ability to hear and participate in meetings
- Primarily office based with standard equipment
- Occasional site visits for project assessments and inspections
- Follow safety procedures and wear PPE when necessary
- Frequent interaction with team members, clients, and vendors
