Kline Electric is seeking a Marketing Specialist in Des Moines, IA. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to develop and execute marketing strategies, manage campaigns, and help drive our brand forward.

Job Overview: 
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing internal communication strategies, managing owned channels, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. This role involves producing content for various internal platforms, assisting with company events, and ensuring consistent messaging across all internal communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Owned Channels Management
- Facebook Community Group: Manage and post content to engage employees.
-Clicksend: Utilize for internal communications.
- Internal Email: Draft and distribute internal emails and announcements.
- Podcast: Assist with content creation and promotion, working with the Marketing Manager and Social Media team.
- Current Connection: Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Social Media team to manage and update this platform.
- Kline Electric Events Site: Manage and update content related to company events.
- Stall Edition: Contribute to content creation.
- Breakroom Slideshows: Create and update slideshows for internal communication.
- Safety Newsletter: Assist with content and distribution.

Strategy Development and Content Creation
- Execute internal communication strategies in alignment with business goals.
- Produce engaging internal newsletters, emails, and announcements.
- Develop content for the company intranet and other internal communication platforms.
- Assist in creating content for the company magazine.
- Collaborate on content for the company podcast.

Employee Engagement
- Assist in planning and organizing internal events and activities.
- Manage and update the company event site.
- Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture.
- Collect and analyze employee feedback to enhance engagement.
- Report on employee sentiment and recommend improvements.
- Provide resources and support for effective internal communication.

Message Delivery
- Ensure clear and consistent messaging across all internal channels.
- Coordinate with department heads to disseminate important information.
- Support communication efforts during organizational changes.

Measurement and Reporting
- Track the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives.
- Prepare reports and present findings to the marketing team.

Collaboration
- Work closely with HR and other departments to ensure cohesive communication efforts.
- Coordinate communication strategies to support company initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality content for internal communication platforms.
- Familiarity with tools such as Clicksend and content management systems.
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- Proficient in Canva
- Experienced in Adobe (lightroom, photoshop, etc.)
- Experienced in Facebook & Instagram Business Suite 


Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.

This position is located in Des Moines, IA and is ON-SITE.
