Job Scope: Residential Plumber
Location: Des Moines, IA

Job Summary: Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential, ensuring compliance with local codes and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation: Install and repair pipes and replacement fixtures.
Maintenance and Repairs: Diagnose and fix plumbing issues; perform routine maintenance.
Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients; ensure satisfaction.
Team Collaboration: Work with other tradespeople; mentor apprentices.
Safety: Follow safety protocols; use protective equipment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Iowa journeyman’s plumber's license (preferred).
4+ years of professional experience.
Knowledge of local plumbing codes.
Ability to read blueprints.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods
Ability to work in various positions, including kneeling, bending, and reaching
Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and conditions
Valid driver's license.
